Director: David Bailey. In the modern consumerist economy we live in, money and brands have become our new idols as we turn away from religion to worship these new prophets. We are led to believe there is a magic pill for all our wants and that the gold is just a finger tip away beyond the end of the rainbow. Ironically though this idea existed within the communist system also, where the 5 year plan, and self sacrifice would have you living a deferred life plan till you die. You are never happy now as there is always something new to buy to complete your life and many people live in a perpetual state of insecurity.
The chaos we have created is evident around us. The happiness we seek is not in the magic pill, or Gucci hand bag, or great achievement from our country. To find this elusive joy we must be happy with the person with in!
Ok hippie rant over LOL. But this is a concept video and yeah I love Nike trainers etc. Just don’t become hypnotized by the BS. We are all human beings. Peace.
